The third course of Haerang tour is ¡°East sea course¡± for two days to Gyeongju, Jeongdongjin, Donghae, and Taebaek. This departs from Seoul Station on every alternate Saturday. (10 April / 24 April) After boarding Haerang train, you may check your room and other facilities such as a lounge, restaurant, event room, and so on. Lunch will be offered on the train and the first stop will be Gyeongju Station. You will visit Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram grotto which are listed in the UNESCO World heritage. After having Korean table d¡¯hote for dinner, you can enjoy the night view of Cheomseongdae Observatory and Anapji pond. While you are sleeping , the train will move to Jeongdongjin Station.
Your second day will start with the beautiful sunrise at Jeongdongjin Station. Again, the train moves to Mukho Station and you will have seaweed soup as breakfast. After Mukhohang port market site tour, you will visit Mureung valley and Samhwasa Temple. Then, we will return to Donghae Station and the train will move to Taebaek Station. Taebaek beef grill will be lunch. The train will move to Chujeon Station, which is the highest station in Korea. You can take some photos and then, Haerang train will come back to Seoul. You may take a rest or enjoy various events on the train. Arrival time will be 7:15 pm.
This course costs KRW 1,280,000 for one deluxe room (two persons), KRW 1,540,000 for one suite room (two persons) and KRW 1,550,000 for one family room (three persons). This includes transportation, all of meals, all of entrance fees and insurance. If you would like to join this tour program, please make a reservation in advance and come to Seoul Station before 8:40 am.
